VASUNDHARA AWARD
Brintons has undertaken a number of initiatives for protection of environment. The Vasundhara Award organized by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) recognizes industries and Urban local bodies who have made a significant contribution towards environmental conservation in the State of Maharashtra. Brintons awarded 2nd Prize in the Vasundhara Environment Awards 2019 by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. Brintons India has been determined in pursuing initiatives which not only benefit the business but also have a positive impact on the environment. The factory’s excellence in ecological management systems and water & energy conservation was appreciated. The factory was also applauded for creating a positive community impact. Satish Karanjkar receiving the award and cash prize on behalf of Brintons Carpets Asia Pvt. Ltd. Presented by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra State Mr. Devendra Phadnavis.

Brintons India has been awarded the prestigious ‘Paryavaran Gaurav Puraskar’ by the Maharashtra Pollution Control
Board for the various initiatives undertaken by Brintons in ‘Protection of Environment’.
SOLAR PANELS INSTALLATION
Brintons India installed roof top solar panels of 1 MW capacity & which is in operation since April 2019. 
Solar power contributes to 25 % of total power requirement of the factory. This green energy initiative helped to reduce the carbon emission, @ 460 metric ton of CO2/year, i.e., equivalent to @ 18000 trees plantation.
TREE PLANTATION
Responsibility Towards Environment. We have planted 1200 trees with the help of Irrigation Department on Irrigation Land under Maharashtra Government’s “Two Crore Tree Plantation Program“ and “Four Crore Tree Plantation Program”. Govt. of Maharashtra, Irrigation Dy. Engineer Appreciated with the letter for this support.
Rain Water Harvesting
Brintons facility houses a number of buildings. All the rain water that gets collected on the rooftops of these buildings is diverted in an artificial pond built inside the premises. The water from this pond is used for our dyeing purpose.

Effluent Treatment Plant
Brintons has a dyehouse which uses water to dye the yarn. After dyeing this colored water is treated in a in-house 'Effluent Treatment plant', which removes all the harmful dyes and chemicals from the water. This clear water is then used for internal gardening. Thus Brintons helps in protecting the environment.
